First (Belated) Post of 2012

Hey there, blog, long time no see!  I've been occupied with quite a few odds and ends lately - things like going back to school to study up on tech support, unexpectedly joining a local historic park society as their Publicity Chair, and so forth.  Speaking of school, I've enrolled in a 3D modeling and animation class, the focus of which is on Maya 2011.  Should be fun, especially if some blogpost-worthy results come along!  Anyway, here's an update of the beard-druff comic from a few months back. It was a finalist in Diablo Valley College's James O'Keefe Prize competition, and the judges had some good suggestions, like enlarging the effect text and upping the volume of 'druff.

Of Fairs and Beards

I've said this elsewhere, but the Peddler's Fair last month was a blast.  Thanks to all who were able to visit, and thanks for the good vibes from those who couldn't!  On an unrelated note, here's a gross little black and white comic thing.

The Peddler's Fair Cometh!

The Benicia Peddler's Fair is only 34 hours away! Excitement! Here's a gaggle of bro-magnons taking down a pizzadon!

I've also made a series of landscapes, since the Benicia locals seem to like that kind of stuff.

For driving directions and other information on the Fair, visit http://www.beniciapeddlersfair.org/.

Etsy Store Update

My current Etsy listings end on the 19th, so I've lowered prices on originals. I've also reduced international shipping fees and enabled the "request custom item" button, because both seemed like good ideas.

A Man Said to the Universe

I love this poem so much. On one hand, it's got the kind of gravitas that evokes a, "Dude, that's so metal!" response, and on the other, it's funny in a supremely dry manner.
